Quote:Requirements for Mixed In KeyThe Windows version can be installed on Windows XP, Vista, 2000 or 2003 Server.Mac OS X version requires Mac OS X 10.4 or higher. An Internet connection is required to analyze new songsWhen you analyze your MP3 and WAV files, Mixed In Key connects online to perform the hardest part of the analysis. I know what they do is not illegal, but it is very bad style, if not impertinent.no software should do what MIK does here.and if they do, they should at least announce it in bold red capital letters on their front-page, so you see it before you spent money for it.still as i said, and to be fair, i agree, except when i am offline, MIK does what it should, and it does it well. Don't you get it?it's a principal thing.we as customers have rights, and we should not just nod our head when they get attacked. Of course it is not too much of an inconvenience, and as i said in my post, everything else is good, it does what it should.but that i have to be online is just not right.i know i can use it while at homebut what if their server has downtime?what if my ISP is broken (which happens once in a while)what if i want to run it in the background while at work, and at the office they only allow internet access to certain directions?

I bought Mixed In Key.A little Review.1.) it does what it should,2.) works precise,3.) is comfortable4.) quicker than beaTunes or Rapid Evolution5.) lightweightbut.6.) seems to use only one CPU core.7.) you have to be online to use it WTF?if i would have known 7 before, i would have never bought it.that is treating customers like criminals.everyone is suspicious of stealing their product.NO!! I F.ING BOUGTH IT!! RAGE!!!A PRODUCT FOR DJs, WHICH WORKS ONLY WHILE CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET?what if their server has downtime?if i could decide again that would be a deal breaker. Then when you reanalyze the files MIK won't skip them. Quote:also i started to re scan id tags, adn some of the keys are in the key column, but some are actually comin up in the comments section, any reason for that or how to fix it?Did you remove and rescan the files you had originally analyzed before looking at the preferences in MIK? If not, you can remove tracks by clicking on the Browse Collection button and then selecting the tracks you find there, right clicking on the selection, and choosing to remove selected results.
